AI Assistant settings

The DevOps Agent config is the per-organization settings for AI Assistant — enable chat, allow it to act, and turn on proactive resource monitoring.

AI DevOps Agent is the settings surface behind AI Assistant, not a separate legacy feature. It's reachable from the sidebar's AI Gateway section as AI Assistant (/dashboard/settings/devops-agent), and controls whether the AI Assistant chat panel is on for the organization and what it's allowed to do.

Settings

  • Enable Skitflow Assistant — turns the chat panel on or off for the organization. Off by default.
  • Allow assistant actions — lets the Assistant execute confirmed proposals (deploy/redeploy an app or compose service, restart, environment updates, backups, domain toggles, database redeploys). Off by default; with it off the Assistant only reads and advises. Even with it on, the member confirming a proposal also needs the devops_agent.act permission — devops_agent.read alone only grants read/advise access.
  • Proactive monitoring — a separate, non-AI background watcher (not the chat) that checks running apps against the alert threshold and pushes a critical resource alert through the App Resource Threshold notification channel. Off by default.
  • Alert threshold — Low / Medium / High sensitivity for CPU, memory, and disk anomaly detection. Default Medium.
  • Monitoring interval — how often the background watcher runs, 1–60 minutes. Default 5 minutes. A given app/metric is only re-alerted once every 30 minutes while a breach persists.
  • Scope — all projects, or a single project. Default all projects.
  • Support contact — an email or help URL shown to users when the Assistant can't answer a question.

Reading the config requires the devops_agent.read permission (owner/admin/platform-admin bypass); saving changes is admin-only.

Relationship to AI Assistant and AI Gateway

  • The AI Assistant chat panel reads this config to decide whether to render at all, and whether mutating proposals are allowed.
  • AI Gateway still resolves which model powers the chat.
  • The Assistant can only be enabled once the organization has either an enabled BYOK provider or a platform default chat model configured (via AI Gateway).
