Code Review
Automated pull request review for connected GitHub, GitLab, and Gitea/Forgejo repositories, with reusable review policies and codebase-aware context.
Code Review reviews pull requests in the repositories you connect to a Skitflow project. A review runs when a non-draft pull request is opened or updated, or when you start one manually, and reports back to the provider as a summary and inline comments.
Two things shape what a review says: review skills, the reusable policies your organization controls, and Code Intelligence, the indexing and semantic-search layer that lets a review pull in context from the rest of the codebase instead of only the diff.
Connect a provider
- Enable
code_review.enabledand the flag for your provider (code_review.github,code_review.gitlab, orcode_review.gitea) under Dashboard → Settings → Code Review → Feature availability. - Open the project's Code Review page and connect the provider: install the GitHub App, or enter the instance URL and bot token for GitLab and Gitea/Forgejo.
- Synchronize repositories, link the ones you want reviewed to the project, and enable Code Review on each.
- Open or update a non-draft pull request, or select Run review, to confirm the connection works.
On self-hosted, an operator must deploy the Code Review worker and configure provider credentials before step 1. See Self-hosted setup.
